How do I certify my attendance using the GIS Day Website?

You can certify your attendance at any of the TAMU GIS Day events using the TAMU GIS Day website. Follow these simple steps.

  1. First, create an account on the TAMU GIS Day Website.
  2. Second, make sure that you are logged into your account on the TAMU GIS Day Website.
  3. Third, open the My Classes menu item on the TAMU GIS Day website and select all of the classes that you want to notify professors for.
  4. Finally, while the event it underway, follow the check-in instructions to check-in at the event.

How do I certify my attendance using the GIS Day App(s)?

You can certify your attendance at any of the TAMU GIS Day events using the TAMU GIS Day website while that event is on-going. Follow these simple steps.

  1. First, create an account on the TAMU GIS Day Website.
  2. Second, download the correct app for your phone. Download and install the TAMU GIS Day App for iOS or Android.
  3. Third, launch the app on your phone and enter your username and password to log into your account.
  4. When the app loads, click on the Classes menu item to show the list of classes where professors have asked to be notified of student attendance.
  5. Select all of the classes for which you want to notify a professor of your attendance.
  6. Finally, while the event it underway, follow the check-in instructions to check-in at the event.
